Thursday, April 2, 2009  --- gerek lah seh! ---Wake up at 6.45am, I was late to meet my girlfriend's. Actually today outing was at "Pulau Ubin". That's my ideas to bring them there.^^, Meet them at "Changi Village" at my dad's shop to have our breakfast before we proceed. We were like well prepare.At about 10am, we proceed to "Bumboat" at "Changi ferry terminal".The ticket was $2.50. When we reach there, we survey the bicycle and we bought the $5 ones. Set off to cycle, from "Infomation Kiosk" to "Ubin Quarry" then stop at hut call "Merbah hut". Cycle to "Kekek Quarry" where there's a few turtles.OMG! They so cute.^^, Continue cycle to "Ketam Quarry" and OMG! that area was damn nice view seriously I'm not kidding. You guys must go there. We took several picture of us then proceed to "Chek Jawa Wetland" and we need to go back from the starting point. From "Belatok Hut" to "Murai Hut" continue to "Kelicap Hut" then "Pekakak Hut" and "Punai Hut" where we need to park our bike outside the gate cause we don't allow to bring them inside. Went to "Information Kiosk" asking for map and I change my slipper with Kin cause my slipper was half to death.LOL! Went to the "Visitor Center" then we go to the viewing jetty. When we reach there, GG and Iqah started to read a detail about the legend. One of the legends surrounding the island is that of a tale of three creatures, a pig, an elephant and frog who had challenged each other to reach Johor from the island. The last one there would be turned to stone. As it was, none of them made it. Pulau Ubin grew out of the elephant and the pig whilst "Pulau Sekudu", otherwise translated as "Frog Island", came out of the petrified frog. That's what the legend said.We go to "Coral Rubble" till "Seagrass Lagoon" were we need to walk at "Coastal Boardwalk". When inside "Mangroves" till back to the information kiosk.^^, After that cycle back to jetty and have our bath at "Changi Beach" and head back to home cause all the girls tired from those cycling.
